Dr. Mark Bishara completed his undergraduate studies in medical biophysics, at the University of Western Ontario and was a gold medal recipient as top graduate of his program. He went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. Since graduating, he practices in the Durham region with a focus on digital workflow, dental implants, bone grafting material regeneration and tissue regeneration. He currently collaborates with members of the Miron Lab in the United States on tissue regeneration utilizing Platelet Rich Fibrin(PRF). He is a published author on PRF , immediate dental implants and clinical applications. He is the President and founder of the Canadian Implant Dentistry Network, Canada’s largest online implant community. He is on the advisory board of Spectrum Implants, the only peer reviewed implant journal in Canada as the Implants Product Review Editor.

Dr. Sheri Margolian graduated in the top five of her dental class from the University of Western Ontario with honours. Dr. Michael Scherer is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University, a Clinical Instructor at University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and maintains a practice limited to prosthodontics and implant dentistry in Sonora, California. He is a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, has published articles, DVD training series, and full‐online courses related to implant dentistry, clinical prosthodontics, and digital technology with a special emphasis on implant overdentures. As an avid technology & computer hobbyist, Dr. Scherer’s involvement in digital implant dentistry has led him to develop and utilize new technology with CAD/CAM surgical systems, implement interactive CBCT implant planning, and outside of the box radiographic imaging concepts. Dr. Bart Silverman graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1982 Summa Cum Laude and received his doctorate in Dental Medicine in 1986 from Fairleigh Dickinson Jr. School of Dentistry, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial residency at Westchester County Medical Center in 1989 and was chief resident in his final year. Dr Michael Tischler is the Implant Editor for Dentistry Today Magazine. Michael has over 40 articles published on implant dentistry and bone grafting, and has lectured extensively in the US and Canada including his in-office live surgical course on the Prettau Zirconia Implant Bridge. Snjezana Pohl is both doctor of human and dental medicine. She is a specialist in oral surgery and EDA certificated specialist for periodontology and implantology.

Since 2006, Dr Vergoullis is the leading Periodontist at the Vergoullis Dental Clinic in Rhodes, Greece and in 2010 he became a Visiting Assistant Professor of the Periodontics Department at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans, USA. Dr. Vergoullis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Richard Miron is currently an affiliated Professor in the department of Periodontology at the University of Bern in Switzerland where he performed his PhD. He also serves as a visiting professor in 3 dental schools including in Wuhan, China (Oral Implantology) UIC in Barcelona, Spain (Oral Surgery), and previously as an Adjunct Professor at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. From 2015-2016, he served as the head of the Oral Biology Laboratory at one of the highest ranking dental school’s in the world (University of Bern, Switzerland) under Chairs Professor Anton Sculean (Periodontology) and Daniel Buser (Oral Surgery). He completed his undergraduate degree and Masters in Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology and a dr. med. dent. thesis at the University of Bern, Switzerland, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Laval, Canada. He has currently published over 150 peer-reviewed articles in the top ranking dental and biomaterials journals and is the primary editor of two textbooks.

His main research interests involve the use of growth factors used for bone and periodontal regeneration, osteoinductive bone grafting materials; collagen barrier membranes and guided bone regeneration in implant dentistry. Dr. Miron is widely considered one of the top young investigators in the field of implant dentistry having recently been awarded many internationally recognized prizes including the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Andre Schroeder Prize (2016), the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) Young Investigator of the Year in the field of Implant Dentistry (2015), the Canadian IADR Hatton Award recipient (2015), and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Young Investigator Grant Award (2014).

Dr. Miron and Dr. Joseph Choukroun recently edited a 15 chapter textbook titled: “Platelet Rich Fibrin in Regenerative Dentistry: Biological Background and Clinical Indications” gathering collaborations from 20 co-authors from around the globe. Furthermore, a second textbook titled: “Next Generation Biomaterials for Bone and Periodontal Biomaterials” is currently underway in collaboration with Dr. Yufeng Zhang. Together they have formed one of the strongest regenerative labs in the dental field focused on the development of new biomaterials utilized in dentistry introduced to the markets in North America, Europe and Asia.

Dr Gluckman completed his dental training at the university of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg in 1990.  After spending a number of years in a general practice he completed a 4-year full time degree in Oral Medicine and Periodontics at the University of Stellenbosch in Cape Town, which he completed with distinction (cum Laude) in 1998.  He was intimately involved in the development of the postgraduate diploma in Implantology at both the University of Stellenbosch and later at the University of Western Cape.  He is currently in full time private practice in Cape Town  He is the director of the Implant and Aesthetic Academy, which is a private post graduate training facility in South Africa currently providing a complete postgraduate training program in Implantology in South Africa.  The Academy is accredited accredited by The University of Frankfurt as well as Stoneybrook University and Dental XP as an accredited training facility for their online externship diploma.  He has been involved in Implantology training for 20 years.

Dr Gluckman was the author of a monthly Implantology corner for the South African Dental Journal and is the immediate past president of the South African Society for dental Implantology and on the board of the Southern African Association of Osseointegration (SAAO).  He has served as the secretary of the South African society of Periodontics.  He has lectured extensively nationally  and internationally and is a member of Dentsply / Friadent's Master Speakers Program.  He is on the experts panel of the international educational website Dental XP and is on the Dental XP scientific board.  He is on the Editorial board of the South African Dental Journal as well as the Indian Journal of Prosthodontics and is An Associate of the College of Medicine and Dentistry of South Africa.

Dr Vinh Giap Nguyen obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgeon degree at McGill University, Montreal in 1987. In 2014, he was awarded a Masters of Science degree in Implantology from Goëthe University in Frankfurt, Germany. Since 2016, he has been an Accredited Tutor for the Master of Implantology Program at Goëthe University.

He was an invited speaker at the International Scientific Symposium 'Innovation Jumps in Oral Implantology'  in 2015, Frankfurt am Main, Germany on the subject of Ridge Splitting for Expansion, and in 2017 on The Clinical protocol on the Socket shield technique.

Dr. Birdi received his DMD with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. He then moved to Minnesota to pursue post-graduate specialty training at the University of Minnesota

in both periodontics and prosthodontics. • Dr. Frank Zastrow is an experienced oral surgeon and former senior physician at Professor Dr. Fouad Khoury, clinic Schloss Schellenstein in Olsberg, Germany. Now he leads his own private clinic in Wiesloch, Germany. His focus is the bone and soft tissue reconstruction in complex and compromised cases. For this topic he is also an international speaker (www.frankzastrow.com) and founder of the facebook group `Real Bone Builders` -a platform for Biological Bone Augmentation, which focusses on working with pure autogenous bone and tissues. After he finished the dental school in University of Heidelberg, Germany, he became research associate at the oral surgery and maxillofacial surgery center of the University of Heidelberg (medical director: Prof. Dr. J. Mühling). 2008 he got licensed for dentistry and oral surgery, doctorate from University of Heidelberg. 2009-2012 he practiced as oral surgeon at the private clinic Schloss Schellenstein, Olsberg, Germany (medical director: Prof. Dr. F. Khoury) and from 2011 he was Senior Physician at the private clinic Schloss Schellenstein. 2011 he licensed to `Master M.Sc. Implantology and Dental Surgery in the University of Münster, Germany.
